As we prepare to film Feast this weekend, I’ve actually been looking more into the elements that will go into filming Flight–the final film. We’re thinking there’ll be some projections mapped (our horizon and landscape lines, perhaps) on both our pyramid structure and costumes. I’ve been wading my way through the vortex that is Adobe After Effects and the much kinder MadMapper to prepare for this. Amazing things have been done with projection mapping in the last few years; it’s gaining popularity with advertising and particularly on architecture.
